Point Line Plane by Emily Gomez

This drawing was the first drawing I made was, line. I liked this first drawing when I did it in the rough drafts because it looked like a rose to me in a weird way, so I decided to add it to the published one, and what I did here was just add lines and make it go smaller as I go further into the middle of the paper. but it was a challenge to me because it didn't look like how it was in the draft which was a disappointment for me, but it was too late to change it. I think I could have changed it by fixing the lines and the ends of it. But I think it looks weird and different because of the frame since it looks different on the rough draft.

This drawing shows that I've used points on this frame. When I drew this on the rough drafts it was easy for me since I just drew 3 dots and resembled a point since it was basically just 3 points. It was challenging for me since it was easy, but the only thing I didn't have to mess up was the circles since I was doing it with a sharpie. To me it looks like a side of a dice, but I don't think I would have changed it since it was the easiest drawing and frame, but also it was faster for me to finish.

The third one I was doing was plane. I got instructed to add shading in the shapes that go around the paper like the corners and the sides and adding lines inside of it if I wanted to, so I did, which made it more interesting and less boring to look at. It was a bit challenging for me to do because I was worried that the shapes looked weird and looked not as good as the one I did in the rough draft so the edit that I made on it made it look a bit better. To be honest, I think I could have done better and done a better job on it, but it was too late to re-do it.

The last one I was supposed to do was point, line, plane combined so I chose the one I did in the rough drafts and made a drawing where it shows point, line, and plane in 4 different parts in the frame. On top was point which I just added points and dots to that section, the bottom was line which I just added lines to it and colored in some of the lines to add a pattern to it. On the right side I did plane which I drew squares on that side and colored in some of it to add a pattern and to make it look like a checkered board. On the left side I made lines on it too, but it can also be plane since it shows some rectangles, for that side I colored in some of the rectangles to give it that effect that its going down like if it was a staircase going down. It wasn't that much of a challenge since I only had to focus on not messing up when I was outlining it and not mess up on coloring it in with the sharpie. In my opinion I think I did okay on this one since it looks clean and better than the other three I did.

  1. My least favorite design was the Point design because it feels too simple something she could've done was adding small dots around to make the design more complex. My favorite design was the Point Line Plane design I feel like it was complex involving every design and is neat. Overall the designs are nice.

  4. My favorite drawing from these drawings is the Point, Line, and Plane. This is because the usage of separating the different aspects and making them look clean is what makes it look good in my opinion. My least favorite drawing is the Point drawing. This is because it looks too simple, compared to the other drawings.
