     InDesign Thoughts



  1.  Designers use the Adobe program for faster developments as it can handle long passages, multiple pages, large sizes, over-type fonts, subtle manipulation including alternate characters which are used without difficulty as it works precisely and efficiently, but also fast enough to get the work done.
  2.  Designers use the Adobe program for more complex and unique designs that are difficult to make by hand or in a regular program as they can be used for magazines, blogs, newspapers, flyers, posters, business cards, brochures and more as it can create templates to help the user out.
  3.  Designers need the layouts for their projects since they can control the fonts, text and overall page composition along with the key that will look good on the final presentation if its on digital or on paper.
  4.  The designers have many tools and options in Adobe to choose from in order to be precise over their design elements and make it look efficient enough which the tools can also be helped in starting and finishing the project
  5.  In the end, the designers can print it out without any difficulty to present over their project without having to show it on a device or talk about it.

3 Letters Final

   The three letters that I have chosen for this final was Garamond, Rockwell, and Baskerville. What I did was that I drew 2 lowercase letters as white, but I colored in the Q black so it wasn’t so bland. Making the sketches was a bit easy since I was able to imagine what I wanted to do for this project, but what was hard for me to do was to draw the curves when the letter had a small curve like the Q has. But the harder letter I had to do was the letter g since drawing it in lowercase looked harder to do. What I would have changed about this was add words at the background so it could look more interesting and not so bland.

Repetition- Emily G

When I was doing repetition of direction, I felt confident on this piece because I had a vision on this artwork where I was imagining a tunnel going all the way down as if the forms were getting smaller and smaller like if it was going down. I like the end results because I was able to complete what I was imagining when starting this and it was more detailed and more focused than the other finals I was doing for this assignment. What I think would have done a bit more differently was to add more detail to the corners to give it more depth and shade. I think my drawing skills have improved a little bit on this piece since due to the more advanced design and detail added into it. r

Point Line Plane by Emily Gomez

This drawing was the first drawing I made was, line. I liked this first drawing when I did it in the rough drafts because it looked like a rose to me in a weird way, so I decided to add it to the published one, and what I did here was just add lines and make it go smaller as I go further into the middle of the paper. but it was a challenge to me because it didn't look like how it was in the draft which was a disappointment for me, but it was too late to change it. I think I could have changed it by fixing the lines and the ends of it. But I think it looks weird and different because of the frame since it looks different on the rough draft. This drawing shows that I've used points on this frame. When I drew this on the rough drafts it was easy for me since I just drew 3 dots and resembled a point since it was basically just 3 points. It was challenging for me since it was easy, but the only thing I didn't have to mess up was the circles since I was doing it with a sharpie. T...
