Analog and Digital Color

 1) What are pixels? 

Tiny blocks of a digital image with different colors.

2) How is color viewed in computer monitors?

They are viewed using tiny red, blue and green lights.

3) What is the additive color space?

It is when different colors are created by adding light.

4) Describe which additive color sliders values in InDesign would you use to make black and white. 

The RGB values have to be 255 to be black and for white it all has to be 0.

5) What is subtractive color space?

It is when different colors are created by subtracting light.

6) Describe which subtractive color sliders values in InDesign would you use to make black and white. 

The CMYK slider percentage has to be 0% to be black and for white its the same, but K has to be 100%

7) What is color calibration?

Ensures that the right colors are being shown on the monitor or device.

8) How does the PMS (Pantone Matching System) color system ensure color fidelity?

By using color codes to create the color.

9) What is the difference between analog and digital colors?

Analog color are colors that exist in real life while digital colors exist though a screen.

10) What is digital color?

It is when different colors are created using numbers.
